We Are Horses 4 Life

We are Carol and Chris and we are the proud owners of Horses4Life

Carol trained with the British Horse Society, attaining her BHS riding and stable management stages one, two and three qualifications.  Carol has owned horses all her life and was a yard manager in a successful eventing yard for many years.
Carol looks after the day to day care of all the animals on the farm, she makes sure that all the horses are fed, groomed, mucked out and exercised each day. That the chickens, dogs and cats have fresh food and water each day.
She liaises with our team of experts to ensure our ponies have the best possible treatment:

  •  We have regular visits from our vets to ensure the ponies have their vaccinations on time and receive any treatment they may need.
  • The farrier visits every six weeks to either trim the ponies feet or replace the metal shoes they wear.
  • The equine dentist visits either every six or twelve months to give them regular dental checks so that their teeth do not develop any sharp edges.

The horses also have regular sports massages to help keep them relaxed and their muscles in tip-top condition.

Carol also deals with the delivery of the hay, bedding and horse feeds, she will happliy show you how to handle the animals and answer any questions you may have.

Despite changing her career to become a driving intructor in 1999 she has always had horses and after a long day teaching pupils to drive likes nothing more than spending time with her favourite animals
